Writer's Block Freestyle

This is straight off the top

It's been a minute
since I been all up in it
Although it's embedded in me
It's been a while since I wrote some poetry
and I used to do it all the time
at the drop of a dime
I'd write a line
and I'm feeling it as I write
trying to get my rhymes tight
as my mind begins to think
those thoughts travel
from my head
to the ink
as it flows through the pen to the pad
reminds me of those feelings I used to have
inside
when I write
I getting this feeling
and I'm starting to feel it again in me
all this as I write and type
all this because of poetry
